Served papers often arrive as scans. SupraDraft reads them on your PC, with the text recognition built into Windows run through our own reading pipeline. Nothing is sent to an online service, and nothing read from a scan is quoted until you have checked it against the paper.

• Answers

  Give SupraDraft the complaint and it sets up your Answer, with a numbered response slot for each paragraph. Your affirmative defenses are copied word for word and in order from an Answer you filed before, or left as a fill-in, and the prayer for relief follows. Every admission and denial is yours to write.

• Complaints

  SupraDraft sets out the parties, jurisdiction and venue, general allegations and one to ten causes of action, or the headings and cause-of-action titles of a complaint you filed before. It adds the prayer for relief, and a jury demand, verification and exhibit list when you want them. Every allegation slot is numbered and left blank.

• Discovery responses

  When you are served with interrogatories, requests for production or requests for admission, SupraDraft carries every request onto your court’s paper, quoted and counted. An empty response sits under each one, with the caption, signature and certificate of service in place. The responses and objections are left to you.

• Your own discovery

  When you serve discovery of your own, SupraDraft can pour the requests from one of your earlier sets onto this case’s paper. Or it lays them out as numbered fill-ins for you to type into. Either way, the caption and signature are set up, and what you ask for is yours to decide.

• Letters

  Tell SupraDraft who you are once, and it sets up letters to counsel or a client from your firm’s details, addressed and signed. The body is left blank, because what the letter says is up to you.

• Pleading paper

  For a document that SupraDraft does not set up, it still gives you blank pleading paper for your court, either line-numbered or with a plain caption. From there the page is yours, ready for anything you need to write.

• Reads what was served

  It fills in the case for you, so every paper you set up for that case gets its caption without retyping.

  1. Click New case and drop in the complaint or the served set: a Word file, a PDF or a scan.
  2. Click Fill from served document. The court, case number, parties and counsel go into the case form, each field marked with where it came from.
  3. Check every field, and anything read from a scan against the paper. Pick the court if it is still blank, then click Save case.

• Reads scans on your PC

  Scanned papers are read insanely fast on your PC, by the text recognition built into Windows run through our own reading pipeline, and nothing is sent to an online service. A page that reads poorly is read again at a higher resolution and the better reading is kept. Every page break is kept too, so a scanned set is numbered and quoted the way a text PDF is.

• You check every scan

  Nothing read from a scan is quoted until you have checked it against the paper, and that check is tied to the file itself. A request heading the scanner garbled, like “REQUEST NO. l0”, is fixed only when every word on the line is one SupraDraft knows, and each fix is shown to you. A scan it cannot read in full is refused with the reason, never cut short and treated as complete.

• Any U.S. court

  SupraDraft works with any U.S. court in one of three ways. Pick a built-in court profile, or describe your court once: its name, the lines at the top of its caption, the rows beside the caption, and whether it uses line-numbered pleading paper. Or give it your own blank pleading paper, and it types onto a copy of that paper, keeping its font, font size, line spacing and margins.

• Opens in your word processor

  SupraDraft saves every finished document on your PC as an ordinary .docx file, in one folder per case. Click Open and it opens in your default word processor, whether that’s Microsoft Word or whichever app you’ve set for .docx files, and you edit it like any other document.

• Never writes the answer

  SupraDraft sets up the mechanical half of a court paper: the caption, the numbering, the quoted requests, the signature and the certificate. It does not write responses, objections, allegations or argument, because what to say is your call. Anything it cannot fill from what you gave it is left as a marked fill-in, never guessed.

• No AI. No cloud.

  There is no AI model in SupraDraft, and it does all of its work on your PC, where your documents stay. It needs no internet for everyday use: it goes online only to manage the free trial and the software license, confirming the software license at least once every 30 days.

• Minutes

  Your shell is what SupraDraft sets up, from the caption to the certificate, and you get it in minutes or less on almost any Windows 10 or 11 PC. That leaves your time for checking it and writing the answers.

• Runs on most PCs

  SupraDraft needs Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11 on an Intel or AMD PC, laptops included, with 4 GB of memory (8 GB recommended), about 200 MB of disk space and a screen of 1024 × 768 or larger.
